Positive change can turn a bad habit into a positive power. It changes how one looks at their position in life and how they can move forward in a way that makes their life more comfortable and less restrictive. Positive attitude and behavior can build inner strength as well as improved discipline and the ability to create a stronger sense of character and self-discipline.

However, to continue on a path of successful change not only must a person improve negative habits they must review and adopt healthier choices with better routines and new habits that will support personal progress. It is possible to change a negative behavior into a positive one by sharing your behavior with others that will support your new positive action. Changing a negative behavior can be very difficult due to your thoughts about returning to the behavior you want to change.

A person has to overcome the temptation to return to the negative behavior and willingly continue to find alternative positive behaviors to move in a direction that will enforce your decision to change. Change takes time and a strong plan is needed to succeed in the process. All behavior is purposeful and meets a need. It is imperative that you remain strong willed on your journey to change and have a support system that will always encourage positive change. Have faith in yourself select someone in your life that will encourage you and be there when times get tough and times will get tough.

Change your routine to get away from the same day to day pace and behaviors and continue to acknowledge that you are in charge of your choices. Remember you decide to make changes because the behavior you want to change was no longer working to make your life enjoyable. Take pride in your decision to change and share how you are succeeding with your supporters.
